How Will We Know If It Is Possible to Prevent Global Warming?

In the famous book written by Dr. Nicholas J. Granados, “Is it Possible to Prevent Global Warming?” several years ago, he makes quite an interesting and thought-provoking argument. He says;

“The evidence that scientists have gathered over the past couple of decades is irrefutable. There is now conclusive evidence that there is a global warming effect, and that it is caused by human activities. There is also good evidence that this warming effect is likely to continue for at least twenty to thirty years, causing drastic changes in all aspects of our planet’s climate.” Dr. Granados goes on to say that “The main thrust of the scientific studies are that carbon dioxide is the leading cause of global warming, and that by reducing carbon dioxide levels we can stave off, or even reverse, the effects of global warming.” He also says that “The key to preventing global warming is changing our use of energy and switching to more sustainable and renewable sources of energy such as solar and wind.”

Now some people might be saying, “Won’t the rest of the world look at me and think I’m crazy for thinking that?” To them I would only say, “No!” Our entire world’s way of life depends on the energy that we bring into it. We need to think of this in the best possible way, because if we don’t, we could face serious consequences. The next few lines are going to explain what some of the consequences might be if we do not change our ways.

First, let me tell you something very disturbing. Over the past several decades, the world’s ice has gone rapidly disappearing. In many areas it has disappeared entirely. This is because the melting of the ice is releasing huge amounts of methane, a powerful greenhouse gas. This gas is released from the thawing of the permafrost that is lying around the world. It is believed that the methane that is released is the main reason why some glaciers are melting.

What does this mean to us? It means that temperatures may go up significantly. The methane in the air would cause the planet to warm up, which would cause its weather to become extreme. It is thought that the methane that is released may cause the ice to melt, and then the water could start to rise in temperature. All these things would happen rapidly, leading to disastrous weather conditions all over the world.

Global warming cannot be prevented by simply changing our habits. This is because our lifestyle is causing the problem. The problem is caused by carbon dioxide. If we reduce the amount of carbon dioxide being released into the atmosphere, we can prevent some of the warming effects of global warming. It is believed that carbon dioxide should be reduced at least 50%.

How can we prevent global warming? There are a number of things that we can do. Firstly, there is the need for everyone to make a conscious effort to reduce their carbon emissions. If they do this, they will help prevent global warming. Secondly, the need for our leaders to get together and agree on ambitious action to reduce carbon emission. When leaders are serious about preventing global warming, they are more likely to find the solutions to the problem.

So, is it possible to prevent global warming? Yes it is. The sooner we act, the better off we will be. We owe it to ourselves, to our descendants, and to future generations to take serious steps to reduce carbon emissions.

There are a number of different approaches that can be taken to reducing carbon emissions. One of the most promising of these approaches is to plant more trees. This has the added benefit of being good for the environment. Another good idea is to use solar power. Using clean energy to heat our homes and offices is a good way to reduce carbon emissions.

If we continue to ignore the issue of global warming, our children and grandchildren will face many problems. They may not be able to go to college if they have to bear the cost of going to school. They may also not be able to afford the best and the most modern housing.

A lot of people and countries are affected by global warming. If something as important as global warming is caused by humans, we need to take very drastic measures. We may have to get a new form of energy, or we may have to stop using all the carbon we are currently using. Perhaps we can figure out how to live sustainably on this planet, without causing any further damage. Maybe we can solve the problem before it’s too late.
